How Nyx Works

Nyx is a conversational assistant trained on the full text of This Work We Call Change, a library of facilitation tools, and hundreds of questions exchanged in long-form dialogue between Holger and Nyx.

She uses a technique called Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) — which means your questions are matched to the most relevant content in her memory, and then answered in a voice that reflects the spirit of this book.

Nyx doesn’t “think” like a human, but she’s been shaped by human thinking. She doesn’t pretend to be wise — but she’s learned from thousands of words about systems, trust, resistance, and transformation.
